Thats because no one cares about Bizkit in the U.S. anymore. It's just a fact. They do extremely well in Europe for some reason, but U.S. not really. I mean both times I saw them (2013 and 2014) it was fantastic and they were excellent but they sold out the House Of Blues and that's not that hard to do.
I get shown just how out of the loop I am when it blows my mind that A7x bills above Zombie, Slayer and Korn. Then you got Cinderella's Tom Kiefer up in the headliners to keep it classy
This is a 3 day thing so one band doesn't necessarily headline over the others. I've come to appreciate being able to set the lawn chair up in the morning and that's your spot for the day. You leave the chair there all day, go back to the camp grounds, and just come out for the bands you wanna see and you can head back to the camp grounds between sets.
@gnomez , that band thats enormous in your country and europe called biffy clyro are playing my favorite venue here, but its a fucking 500 cap bar. didnt they headline download festival? )))))))))))))
Very true. Although it kinda makes sense because the other bands are pretty much living of their past success and on the downside while other bands like ax7 and ffdp are still closer to the peak of their careers. The bigger problem is that few other bands can even make that climb anymore.

I've seen the same pattern play out with a bunch of cheesy bands over the years. They blow up, get attached to a moment, fall from the public eye, stay washed up for a few years with pieces of the band touring sporadically or doing fests. Then all the dorks that loved their music as teens get financially prominent and the reunion tour is ON. I saw KISS have their big comeback. Motley Crue and Poison. Bush kinda had a moment a couple of years ago. Some of the shitty pop-punk and ska-punk bands are popping back up. It's only a matter of time before bros that had barbed wire tats, chin pubes, and backwards baseball hats that were all about the Nookie start using that money they made after kicking the coke habit and settling down with their second baby momma to demand a full-scale Bizkit boomerang. The time may be now, since everyone is back on George Michael's dick again and SOMEBODY has to play 'Faith'

I get that, but they wouldn't headline over Ozzy. I just kinda figured that Zombie, Korn and Slayer were in a higher bracket now, but I guess I was wrong
But the official line up isn't out for a few days yet, so not sure if that's the legit line up yet.
That poster was leaked from somewhere, don't be surprised if it's legit. Chicago Open Air's lineup got leaked ahead of time yesterday as well and it's not supposed to be announced until this morning.
It's worth it for me just for the camping. The travel is easy. Soak the plants before you go and you will be back in time for their next feed. It doesn't tie up a whole day just to get there, and another to get back, doesn't really break the bank, and we bring steaks for days lol. The oldest kid loves it because he has another family that he is friends with also goes every year so he has friends to hang with all day.
Chicago Open Air will be announced tomorrow morning. --

Soooo this Line up is 100% OFFICIAL. Announced on Chicago Open Air's website today. I'll take Megadeth, Anthrax, Meshuggah and Code Orange from Day 1. Fuck Kiss. Fuck that band to hell. Day 2 I'll be checking out Pig Destroyer, Clutch, Metal Church, Body Count, Serther and of course Korn. I'd also be lying if I said I'm skipping Godsmack. And Sunday Behemoth, Amon Amarth, LOG, Slayer, and Ozzy. If there's nothing interesting going on I'll peep Hellyeah again and Stone Sour. Line up is about what I expected. Butt rock, and old thrash bands with a pinch of randomly awesome bands like Pig Destroyer.
if you were the hiring manager at a company for a decent-paying position (nothing special, but one which requires a college degree), and you interviewed a candidate who had to resort to a job at a gas station or something (a low-tier job) because they simply couldnt receive callbacks for semi-respectable positions, do you view their employment with said low-tier place like the gas station as a strong negative, making them look like a shitty dirty person... or do you understand their struggle and respect their hustle just to make money to make ends meet in the meantime?

depends if they have the degree, and how well they worked at the gas station.

It's better than being at work. \m/
Sat, check out Avatar and Night Verses.
Sun, other than what you mentioned, try to check out Whores. I also know no one else cares but Norma Jean are intense live.
Edit: nvm I see Metal Church on your list now
