You barely even know how to use a computer. How the hell would you have any idea what you need to do professional type video editing? Sure you can do it with a Mac but for the specs you need you're going to pay 3x as much as you would with a PC.
Plus like MC said good luck upgrading what you have already.
Now my mom is eating all my waffles and all of chris's spicy burritos. Never mentions wanting waffles and we got her her own burritos that aren't spicy (cuz she couldn't even eat bbq sauce or pepper cuz it was "too spicy"). It's really starting to drive me insane and it's taking a lot to not say anything or flip out about it.
Ontop of that she lost her card in the mess of a room she has..so 150 of the cell phone bill (her portion this month) can't be paid. She's had over a week to get a replacement sent but hasn't done it.
I have almost the exact same laptop except mine is Acer, and I have a 256 GB SSD that Windows 10 boots from. I use the 1.5 TB physical drive for music and media storage
I bought it maybe 2 years ago and paid 1000 USD from Amazon. It's excellent
We would if we could afford it. This isn't what either of us want. Everything is going to take time with fixing the basement and getting that ready (it leaks badly when it rains or when enough snow melts), getting a reliable car, etc. We also don't want to live in this state. Do I wish it was that simple that we could just move out? Yeah. But it isn't.
At least when we get to the basement we'll have our own fridge and space. Putting a fucking lock on that shit, idc
Macs are better for media, but in general I can't stand them. I find them too constructive. It bums me out that so much Windows shit is modeled after Mac stuff lately. I paid $300 for my Windows lap top. I embrace the challenge of making music on something cheap. In my opinion, lots of people can make stuff sound good with expensive instruments. It's those that have to challenge themselves with limited resources that impress me with solid work
Yuh. But if you can chisel a statue using a mallet and a railroad spike, it's a lot more interesting that someone that does it with a jackhammer and a sandblaster
The process may be more interesting, but not the end product. You're just shooting yourself in the foot and doing things the hard way. At some point, if your gonna carve statues for a living, you have to respect your craft and get real tools. It's fine to dabble with cheap shit, but if you plan to get serious about things you've got to set yourself up for success, not failure.
If you want to grow a few ounces for yourself, you can dabble with cfl's. If you want a serious grow, that just isn't gonna cut it.
You can fix a few things with an adjustable wrench, but if your gonna be a mechanic, you're gonna need some sockets.
You can learn to play on a $50 guitar that won't stay in tune, but you're not gonna go on a national tour with it.
