"Oh shit. you want stuff to help you fall asleep? One minute, I'll give you some neofolk. This stuff is great."
lol... one semester i had a huge 3 or 4-hour break between classes and i would always go to a cubicle desk at the library and put on my :of the wand and the moon: album to help me fall asleep
1. Metallica - And Justice For All. First Album I ever bought myself 2. System Of A Down - Toxicity. My first metal album ever, along with #3 3. Iron Maiden - Powerslave 4. Slipknot - Iowa. This album was a gateway for me to check out metal with heavier vocals 5. Killswitch Engage - Alive Or Just Breathing.
"lol... one semester i had a huge 3 or 4-hour break between classes and i would always go to a cubicle desk at the library and put on my :of the wand and the moon: album to help me fall asleep" hah, nice. I don't use the music to help me sleep, nor do I think it's boring. I love neofolk. I just assumed since it's rather calm, it could help. Every now and then, I won't be able to sleep when I'm at a friends house, I have lots of slow celtic folk songs that help me.
Smashmouth - Astro Lounge. First album I recall being able to call my own. I was 6. Baha Men - Who Let The Dogs Out. Second album I was able to call my own. Hell Yes. Avenged Sevenfold - City of Evil. Same as zuke. Dont listen to it anymore, but got me away from Rap Chamillionaire - The Sound of Revenge. Made me realize, WTF?
Iron Maiden - Number of the Beast Ozzy - Diary of a Madman
I was six. I think had I got anything it would be lifechanging lol. I dont know I just had a hard time thinking of stuff that would really be life changing.
1. KISS - Alive II - first album I ever paid for with my own money 2. Black Sabbath - Master of Reality 3. Black Sabbath - Paranoid 4. Alice In Chains - Dirt 5. Judas Priest - Stained Class
Either that or Tubthumper by Chumbawumba (goddamn right) was my first album I ever bought. God when I was in 3rd grade (4th grade maybe?) we would listen to that one Smashmouth song ("All-Star" I think) everyday on the bus to and from school non-stop for like 3 months. Bus driver must've hated us.
