That probably is. They have a Star Wars movie planned every year. I'm guessing this revived trilogy will be mostly nostalgia and fan service and the other set of movies will be the branch out. Forgot where I read it but they have an untitled Star Wars movie planned for 2016 that is going to follow an independent squad of rebels and feature no characters from Star Wars. All new characters, story, etc.
its called Star Wars: Rogue One and it is going to focus on the squad the obtained the schematics for the Death Star which allowed it to be destroyed.

C it's called Rogue One: A Star Wars Story and has to do with a group of rebels trying to steal the plans for the Death Star. Takes place between Episode 3 and 4.
