Was gonna watch zero dark 30 after all the good talk on here...then I googled what it was about.... pass
It pretty much follows what the seals who actually talked said of the raid. I was really interested in this flick because I am from NY and also I actually witnessed 9-11 from The Jersey side. I was just extremely pissed that someone would do that to us. I didn't actually see the towers fall but I did see them bruning. I was making a U-Turn to deliver to The Home Depot in Paramus when the first one went down. My 2nd stop that day was supposed to be Statan Island. obviously I didn't make it there. The whole area turned into one big fucking parking lot.I got out of there in the nick of time. I guess I just took it personal and also the guy who lived down the street was killed in the attacks so yeah.....I wanna see those pics of that fucker.
Will Smith On Why He Turned Down The Role Of Django
"Django wasn't the lead, so it was like, I need to be the lead. The other character was the lead!" says the "Men in Black" star, whose departure opened the door for Jamie Foxx to play the role.
Smith says that before he left the project, he even pleaded with Tarantino to let Django have a more central role in the story.
"I was like, 'No, Quentin, please, I need to kill the bad guy!'" (Ironically, Waltz was considered a supporting actor during his Oscar-winning award season, while Jamie Foxx was promoted as the movie's lead.)
But no hard feelings: Smith was a big fan of the final product. "I thought it was brilliant," he says. "Just not for me."
