And it was more comic accurate for the most part than Nolan's Batman films.
Dawg, how many times to I have to explain to you? You are the only person I know that has a problem with Nolan's batman not being comic accurate. It was never supposed to be comic accurate but set in a real world tone where a person can become a hero.
All the hardcore nerds I talk to online and in person knew this and praised it cause it was a prefect retelling of a hero but in realism.

I know what they were supposed to be. I think his movies are great (I do have some actual issues with Dark Knight Rises, but w/e). I'm saying that for me, personally, I like The Avengers more because I liked how they portrayed the characters as more comic accurate.
I'm have the same feelings towards The Walking Dead show compared to the comic as well. The characters are too different, and I personally do not like it as much.

As awesome as the movie was, and as good as Ledger's acting was as Joker - Joker didn't feel like Joker imo.
Mark Hamill is the best Joker anyways though.
