I dont know if it will stay above Megadeth. I was just impressed upon first listen. My lists usually shift a lot as the year progresses and I listen to things more. Honestly none of the albums on my list so far are "mind blowing". Some solid releases, for sure, but the order for all of them is subject to change.
'no one deserves happiness' was good. it reminded me of 'christs redeemers.' I think 'I shall die here' with the haxan cloak was the best theyve done in years though.
I understand why you think that, but I think the new one is their best since "All The Waters". Tracks like Hallow/Hollow and Starving Deserter remind of the material on that.
the only releases that I didn't care for were Obscura and Agoraphobic nosebleed. Obscura just ain't my thing anymore and the new Agoraphobic Nosebleed is really fucking bland IMO.
dime I never got into Anthrax or Slayer. I like what old Anthrax I've heard but at this point I couldn't give a rat's ass what any old thrash band is doing now. Gimme Metallica's first four and Megadeth's two record with "Peace" in the title and I'm good. New Vektor is gonna rip tho \m/
I can understand that. I know a lot of people, most of them fans even, who just don't care about shit from old thrash bands past a certain point. Never listened to Vektor but I'm looking for new tunes. Where should I start with them?
