It'd be cool to break 30 this year. Think I only did that in 2013. I have 29 planned. Don't really want to go to some random show just for the sake of hitting 30 though.

show was kinda underwhelming. It took like 80 minutes to get into the venue and then he only played for like an hour, if that. Also the crowd was kinda weak. Supposedly the show was sold out but the venue felt like it was at half capacity at most. He played the hits and some deep cuts from his early material but it felt kinda half assed. it was still a decent experience tho.
Reel Big Fish are your typical ska/punk band, but they've been around 25 years or so. There's a fun band called Masked Intruder opening. Kinda figured it wasn't your thing, but still figured I'd mention it.
It's just like any kind of music. Some is aight, some is shit. I think calling RBF ska is kind of an insult to ska though. They're just a shitty pop band with a horn section
IMO that conglomerate of shitty punk, ska, ska-punk bands of the late 90s pretty much killed off both genres simultaneously. The mention is either genre now evokes images of bratty suburban mallrats. Skateboarding kinda went down with the same ship
