What's funny is we have the ability to be adults and agree to disagree. Problem with MC is when people don't view things the same way others do, he proceeds to try real hard to prove why he's right and others are wrong. And when a discussion/debate like this happens he rage quits. I hope he lets his mind open up and grows up within the next five years. Hopefully gains some life experience

why its newsworthy is to show people that not all cops are bad. it wouldn't be newsworthy if the people and the media weren't on a cop witch hunt 24/7. Damning all cops and demonizing even good ones. but because "all cops are bastards", its newsworthy to point out that no - not all cops are bad. and in fact the majority are doing their jobs right.
The problem is that there have been so many issues with cops recently that they even feel the need to portray cops in a positive light. It's funny that you blame the media for inciting the negative opinions on pigs, because I'm sure there's a story daily about cops finding murderers or breaking up kiddie porn rings or something noble. Those are the good ones. The ones that actually serve a purpose. The street cops that just bumble around bullying people are the issue. You keep bringing up the "all cops are bastards" thing. I've never been like that. I have a cousin that's a cop, an old high school friend that went that way and several former coworkers. But what happened to me opened my eyes to how they really have no accountability. I got arrested for absolutely no good reason. None. Zero. And the pig that arrested me was laughing about me to his supervisor, who was also laughing. When I went to lodge my complaint, everyone I spoke with was non-receptive, laughed at me, acted like I was crazy or just plain tried to get in my way. There was no repercussions for what he did to me, even though the district attorney saw fit to drop the case. They even told me in the DA's office one day that I shouldn't have pissed him off and he would've let me go...after they laughingly asked me if I was trying to video him. It's all a big joke, top to bottom. Everyone inside the system knows what's going on. And they don't care. Especially if you come from a shithole area like I do. The worst part is that lemmings like you will just sit on the sidelines and bitch because people like me are angry. It reminds me of a quote by Martin Neimoller:

Mc needs to stay away from the internet for a while tbh. Do a little soul searching, people who talk like "everyone is scum" are hurting inside and that's the projection of the inner hidden feelings. I still think he should talk to more professional type people and try to not focus on shit he doesn't have to for a while. Sometimes happiness comes from simplifying your life for a while. College def doesn't help. I was prob the most depressed I ever was in my life in college because I felt different from everyone else. He def has some growing to do and this site prob isn't the best tool for that
The media has literally nothing to do with why I hate cops. Around here, the cops are all up in everyone's business 24/7. Nothing goes on around here but the PD has a crazy amount of funding so they have a ton of officers and a bunch of hi-tech gear and nothing to do all day. The only charge I ever got was misdemeanor possession of marijuana and paraphernalia and it cost me almost $500 to get it expunged. Not to mention the 18 hours of drug classes I had to take. All cuz they found some crumbs and a pipe. Who the fuck cares if I wanna get high? Im not hurting anybody. I was smoking a fucking plant.
Yeah I had a friend get a DUI because he had what the officer claimed was "marijuana ashes" in his car and didn't have the money to get an attorney good enough to fight it. Fucked him up bad, because they released him on bond, then they showed up at his house the next day because of an old traffic bench warrant they missed while he was inside. His roommate was expecting company and didn't even look before opening the door with a bong on the table. They locked up all 3 of the people in the house. My friend got the brunt of it and had to spend 2 weeks in jail before his dad could get the cash to bail him out again. Ever since then, he's got PTSD about driving and freaks out when someone knocks on his door unexpectedly. It's sad

honestly it's close cuz i don't really hate either erik or mc. they both have their faults, albeit in very different areas an in different ways. ff is-dog-shit-on-the-bottom-ofmy-shoe-tier-posting tho
Erik was funny as hell, but he just couldn't help but impose his douchefests into every conversation. It's frustrating here when there's absolutely no "adult mode". He had to but in and say something stupid in every situation and turn it into a fight. MC had that element too, but at least he kinda had the ability to not be a total fucking retard sometimes and his struggles were more realistic. I wouldn't even come here if it was constantly juvenile. I can be juvenile as a troll anywhere. I actually kinda value the opinions here
