Most of the good cops are turning their backs on fucked up shit they see. That makes them almost equally as bad. Its the whole reason were in the situation we are in with police misconduct now.
yes hating class traitors because they reinforce a system of oppression is the same as hating an entire gender because you can't get any...
wait and since when has hating cops been a tenet of feminism? I mean feminism is about liberation of an oppressed class but I think it's funny you attribute my cop hating to that
oh stop with that reductionist horseshoe bs ape. If you honestly think I'm the same as him because we both are vocal about things we dislike, rather than what things in this world we dislike, you should where you morals actually stand.
the things that made him mad were things that threatened his false sense or moral and rational superiority. I'm just mad at the injustices in the world and don't like when people make excuses for it. save that that shit
I have not read one post where you offer up any kind of legitimate rational for how to help fix the problems you speak of but instead rather just say fuck it and fuck everyone involved. Which is exactly as MC did. But hey continue believing you actually care about change.
You tryin to be a hero fool? You wanna see badass mother fucker?! I'll show ya a badass!!!
Or maybe we just start holding them accountable for their murders and fire any cop that acts out of line. And have hire vetting standards and better training procedures for officers. Start requiring cops have credentials and more than a high school education. We can use money from our bloated military budget to fund better training for cops. And that's just solutions if we want to put a band-aid on shitty cops.
Really though, we need to change things on a systemic level, getting to the root of every social ill. which is class inequality. and the root of that atm is capitalism. I can go on that tirade if you want. I'm reading a book called The New Human Rights Movement by Peter Joseph. Maybe check it out. It's about how we can change the system to end oppression and it does so without all the anger and saltiness I bring to the table
I personally think the first step to solving the problem its to complety toss out whatever protocol is currently used for hiring police. People who are believed to have short fuses are almost sought after currently. I also dont think its a very good idea to have ex military in the police force. Sure they might be trained with weapons, but most of them are trained that violent force is ok in almost any situation. I just dont think ex military ( most not all) have the correct mental capacity to “protect & serve”. The military brain washes people into thinking violence is an ok way to difuse a situation.
the next step would be to completly overhaul their training standards. Idk if any of you have really looked at it but some of the tests theybhave to pass are an absolute joke.
Just with the one case I saw a major procedural issue. If someone has further knowledge on the subject I’d love to hear it. But it seems very clear to me instead of having the person crawl towards them while having orders rapid fires at him they could have just gone to him and cleared him where he was with his face down hands on the ground and legs crossed.

You both see complex problems in society and want to blame them on predetermined matrices you have in your head. You are both young and angry, mad at the system in place, and tend to generalize and stereotype people to fit your world view, which you hold above the view of anybody else. You're right, they are wrong, end of story, no middle ground. It's the perspective of youth.
All they grey areas get lost. Not all women are evil, but some are. Not all cops are evil, but some are. Not all white people are racist, but some are. Not all black people are racist, but some are. Not every person shot by cops is innocent, but some are.
Some people just suck, regardless of their religion, color, age, gender or profession. Yet people tend to choose their battle lines, and then that's how they see the problems in their world. Feminists will blame the men. Racist people will blame the Jew's or Negros or White People for their problems. You blame capitalism. MC blames women. Gary blames Obama. People see what they want to see. An issue of opportunity and education can be seen as a racial issue if that's what you want to see. It could be a political issue if that's what you want to see. If you focus on gender then you will see it as a gender issue. A greedy person taking advantage of capitalism would just be a greedy person taking advantage of communism, socialism or any other system in place.
At the end of the day, everything just boils down to shitty people being shitty people. We just argue over the labels they deserve. Changing the label doesn't change the result though. It's still just shitty people.
I am morally and fundamentally opposed to Facebook as a propaganda machine.
They invade people's privacy, steal data, abuse power, divide the populace, censor and suppress information at the whim, and allowed Russia to spread enough lies and disinformation to get Trump elected all while profiting from it like greedy capitalist pigs. ANYONE who would work for them and be an accomplice to their evil ways deserves to be fisted in the face by the hand of justice for allowing such things to continue.

Go go burn a flag or something and calm down.
