I've always loved this argument from Metalheads. Talking shit about the money, sex, and drugs in the Hip Hop and RnB worlds, but it's real shit that these motherfuckers are actually doing.
But fake ass fantasy bullshit like murder, rape, dragons, and pirates, are somehow the better alternative. )
It wouldn't be so bad if *some* modern hip hop/r&b artists had more diverse lyrics/song writing. There's nothing "wrong" with songs about partying, just like there's nothing "Wrong" with songs about fantasy. But when a vast majority of it is about basically the same related things, then it gets boring/lame.
Personally, I don't really care for songs about partying OR fantasy, I like to be able to relate to music in some way. Which I do understand that everyone is different, and that others will relate to music that I won't. There's nothing "wrong" with that, but it goes both ways.
Quit talking like a scholar you fucking faggot. And pleb is the most homo fucking word you could possibly use. But yes let's not forget the superior complexity that overused themes like Christ bashing and woe is me bring to the Metal world. =D>
"quit talking like a scholar" Keep limiting your potential to fit a demographic. I honestly feel sorry for you. You're pathetic. And you're too dense and full of yourself to realize it. You pick on me because I'm the easy target. But you're worse off than I am. You hide behind a facade of trends to try and fit in with people. That's why you measure your success off of superficial and materialistic things.
You're afraid to be yourself. And the fact that I don't give a shit about what society or who's popular thinks about me, scares you.
Heard a song a few hours ago, and these lyrics have been running through my head since. -
Have I become the man that I hated once, or have my thoughts become clouded by things I used to fear the most? And is my heart full of the ashes I heard about? Have I become the missing person I've been trying to get you all to forget?
The less music material the more Erik talks it up.. Easy to say you're good when you don't actually release anything and we have to take your word for it..

Edit - Nvm, forgot that the lyrics didnt reference anything that you typically hear in modern hip hop lyrics.
