Tried out the Lantlos. Didn't care for it much. I think the new Alcest is way better actually. I will agree the new Alcest is nowhere near as good as the previous album, but it's still good.
Lantlos is growing on me. listened to it an the new Alcest back to back today....both are great...
I do think Fozzy is underrated as all hell. They get bad rep because of Jericho and people who dislike him because of his wrestling career.

I agree with that, but at the same time thats what also gives them so much negative publicity. People associate it as if it was just Jericho. They only link it with wrestling without really taking the time to even try the music.
Im assuming you mean the ambient side of godflesh in the similarity? because I can see that... but when I hear 'godflesh' I think of industrial sounding material lol

same difference. lantlos kinda sounds like earlier godflesh with later godflesh's production. it's not terrible, but isis already kinda captured that sound sans the vocals. 6/10
I think it's really good. I'm just a sucker for well made post-metal. Take Pray For Teeth for example. They're not reinventing the wheel, but they just do it so well, I can't help but love it.
Also, you can't really compare Isis and Sleep. Two different sounds, completely.
Well they also just put out more material, lol. But I'd agree. I honestly don't think Dopesmoker is nearly as great as Holy Mountain, and I don't think there's one guy out there that would compare their Volume One album to either.
I dig the new Agalloch stuff. Going to wait on ranking it until the album drops so I can hear it on CD (or vinyl if out) quality though. It has a older Agalloch feel. Kind of Mantle meets Ashes.
Fozzy isnt too bad, they have some good music but the new single sucks cock. And as far as Jericho being a wrestler nd only reason ppl give a shit abt Fozzy, well bitch same could be said for 30 Seconds To Mars. THere's only a few ppl who can juggle multiple careers in the public eye and stay relevant in both, Rob Zombie is a great example.
