Tirades or skully can you elaborate for me what makes everblack stand out over their other albums?
just a personal preference. my favorite before this one was probably deflorate with nocturnal being a close second and this one sounds slightly similar to both but different. in a good way though. like tirades said, the song Every Rope A Noose sounds so awesome. it's my favorite song on that album. i like the vocals better on nocturnal, deflorate, and everblack then ritual. ritual seemed to have more of a traditional death metal gutteral vocals while the other 3 had more of a balance between the gutteral style and raw scream/shrieking style which is a nice mix IMO. plus i like the overall songs better, even without the vocals, on the other 3. dont get me wrong though, ritual is an awesome album too.

Tbh, the only BDM albums I've heard all the way through were 'Unhallowed' and 'Miasma'. They were introduced to me from a friend because Trevor quit for a little while and they were looking for a replacement. They sent out instrumental demos with 'Funeral Thirst' and one other song for people to add vocals to but Trevor came back pretty fast. I thought 'Unhallowed' was just At the Gates/Dissection worship and 'Miasma' didn't change my mind. It also wasn't as well executed so I lost interest. I think they're kind of a fun live act, but never made time to revisit them since. Is 'Nocturnal' transcendent of those albums?
