come on jobe, you're gonna back up your argument with a wikipedia article? you can do better
The thing is that I dont need to do better. It covered all the details pretty well. Anyone who was really interested in it can Google it themselves and look into it more. You can download the pdf. There are a lot of sites that have host the original documents, but I don't know which ones are sketchy and which ones you will trust. I don't want to be responsible for sending somebody to some whack job web site. If people are curious they will look into it themselves. It interesting to see what some people in power were actually willing to try and pull off, and the similarities in some of the sections of Northwoods to other events is creepy as fuck. It's the start of the rabbit hole.

Operation Northwoods is a pretty clear cut thing. It was proposed, it's just that it didn't happen. It's relevance to his assassination is completely different, because there's no proof of that.
Either way, the real takeaway from Northwoods is that we wouldn't know about it if JFK signed off on it. So how do we know someone hasn't signed off on something since and we just have no clue?
I just tend to not believe that as I think that politics tries so hard to be self-sufficient, that no one would dare play such a game of political chicken.
It starts the rabbit home for me because its solid proof that not only did people in the government did conspire to try and some terroristic threats to achieve their agenda, but that shit got signed off on all the way up to the president. It may or may not have had anything to do with why JFK got shot, but after the one guy who said no was murdered, all of the other assholes who WERE willing to go through with it either stayed in place or moved up the ranks.
I don't see how someone could read the northwoods stuff and not see the Kennedy connection. I see a lot of apologizing and excusing going on whenever it's brought up and I have no idea why. I think people have a hard time accepting it and get defensive out of instinct
That's what most people do. They see something that challenges what they think they know and instead of reading up on it, they make fun of the messenger. I've yet to have a solid debate over anything conspiracy related because those that challenge me never read anything and argue ad hominem. It's a joke

Do you mean the connection to his assassination? I mean, it's a pretty simple connection to make, but it would be without proof. There's no factual foundation connecting Northwoods failure to his assassination. It's just conjecture.
The Kennedy connection shouldn't even be the focus after reading about northwood. What it really makes me question is the 2000 election and W's connections to the CIA. I mean he lost the popular vote and it came down to a state where his brother was in control. It all just seems fishy with all the coincidences of 9/11 and also the similarities it has with northwood that the creator of the CIAs son was in office at the time.
