    New volbeat was very meh. Room 24 is far and away the best song on the album.

    This year has been so mediocre I don't want to rank anything I've listened to. I've already expressed why with kse. Hatebreed was well hatebreed but they have always been a better live band so I really don't listen to the cds much even though they are my favorite. Soilwork was so boring I had to turn it off halfway through. I really hope the new black dahlia murder can change this pattern.

    Volbeat kinda sucks. King Diamond on Room 24 couldn't even save it for me. That song sounds fine when King is singing but when the Volbeat singer starts singing it just ruins it for me.

    I don't really dig Volbeat either... some of their songs are decent instrumentally. But I dont dig their vocalist.

    I actually like the other albums from them and his voice is fine in other songs, but after hearing King and then he jumps back in with OH HUUUTTA HOOOOOTTA BUUUUUUDDDDA BOOOOOOODDDUUUA BAH DA DOOO DUUU DUUUU DOOOOOHHHHHHHHH EEEYAHHHHHH.
    It just sounds way too fuckin hokey lol

    Just realized... the dude from Volbeat sounds like a mixture of modern Hetfield with the "eeeyaaahh!" after every phrase, and Elvis.
