Don't misunderstand where I am coming from... I feel you man. You are hurt, disgusted, and it's probably hard to even catch your breath. But what if there was still a chance to work through it? I know it hurts like a mother fucker, but wouldnt it hurt more to lose her forever? What if you confront her and she realizes how much she fucked up?
age of consent in IL is 17, UNLESS the adult is in a position of influence or authority ie a coach or teacher...so if this shit gets out, she's in some trouble...
As for what I'm gonna do, I dunno....like i said, she gets me calmed down and says all the right things, and then BOOM; pulls the same old stunts (disappearing for hours, lying, MYGODTHELIES!) and explodes when I have the nerve to get mad and say I don't trust her. Basically this woman is a pathological liar and a bit of a sociopath...she will say WHATEVER she has to in the moment to get people to believe her crap....

Dude I hear you, and I figured you'd have that view (we're similar in age and family status) I haven't started any paperwork, and don't know if I will...Yes, I confronted her with the recordings, and she broke down, and confessed to everything I'd already found out, and swore she'd make things right....Then the NEXT FUCKING day, she's turning her phone off after work, lying about where she went after work, etc....I don't mean to make you guys think I've got her under lock and key, but I figured she'd do everything she could set my mind at ease and start the process of earning my trust back....That's all I wanted.....

personally if it was me fuck her..you cannot possiblely trust her responsibely anymore..i mean you could turn into a guy that just doesnt care what is wife is doing but i dont think thats a good thing

Don't get her in trouble with the law or with school man. Unless you have kids and you need to go this route to get custody. As much as things suck, there are really only two good routes you can go with.
1. You realize it's over. You be the bigger man, and as calmly as possible explain that you caught her cheating and that the marriage is over. That you just can't continue on in a marriage where you don't trust her. Tell her that you will love her forever, and that you wish her luck. (This is probably about the meanest thing you could ever do to her because she will realize how badly she fucked up and want you back forever).
2. Talk with her, understand why this happened, and work on some plan to work things out.
I really think it would be a bad idea to get back at her. To fuck things over for her. Yeah she screwed you, but that doesnt mean you have to do the same. If you do, then that just justifies in her head everything she did to you.
She fucked you over now it's time to give her back the favor. Let the police know.

She can't cheat on you with an underage boy (her student, no less), and then say it's your fault when you turn her in. She deserves it. I should have pressed the detonation button in my last relationship when I got dumped for a pedophile. It's one thing I regret not doing.
MOAR: during last Sunday's recordings, she had a conversation with her friend on the phone with her little fuck buddy in the car (they were driving to the theater), and my wife told the friend about how she was tired of all my shit, and that I never pay any bills, that SHE has to, and I am crazy, and awful and blah blah blah...You guys are only getting MY side I know, but one source of happiness in my life is knowing that I take care of my wife and family, and the things my wife was saying weren't fucking true....My wife is concocting this tail for her friends so I'M the villain.....She ALSO was talking to her little boy toy about how she's leaving me, and gonna rent a house that's available on his street and then "we'll be fucking every night"....

I agree. Get to a divorce lawyer first and get everything started. Just hand her the papers when you feel it's a perfect time. It sounds like she's got a fucked up plan to not only make you look bad but to possibly take money and other bs as well. Don't take any chances.
