I used to be a huge Ozzy fan, but I've slowly moved away from his music over the years. I have almost all of his albums, including live albums. I didn't even bother buying Scream though. The last album I bought was Black Rain and it was meh.

I have every single album he's ever made lol. All of his live stuff including DVD's, box sets and everything.
Randy and Jake E. Lee had some good guitar stuff for Ozzy's solo stuff. Iommi speaks for himself.
Dude Randy is my all time favorite guitarist, that man truly unlocked a whole new potential on the guitar that no one had ever heard of before. And Jake E. Lee is highly underrated and was very talented.

Including compilations? The only compilation cd I have is the Prince of Darkness set. I didn't see the point in getting any other ones because I had all the cds anyway.

Yes indeed. I have that and I believe I still have The Essential Ozzy Osbourne. It's because there were a few tracks on both those compilations that you can't find anywhere else on any other album.
They're old that's for sure. He's pretty much done if you ask me..and has been for a while. Why he keeps going beats me. Oh yeah...money for Sharon
Well I think he actually does it because he loves it. You can tell when you see him live, he gives it all he's got and he shows his love for the fans. He gets all excited and crazy. It's because of us that he's where he's at today. So he shows his gratitude by still entertaining us.

that's cool I seen him enough times though
Lol I feel like I haven't seen him enough. I wanna see if I can maybe get up to 15 before he retires.
after reading this whole thread, what muffinz sez is basically everything I would have - except I've seen Ozzy 45 to 50 times (solo) and Sabbath in various forms ten times (with Ozzy, 5 times). we stopped keeping track of how many Ozzy shows after 45 when he tied with Aerosmith. I've watched his career ups and downs since 1981.
Ozzy is not the greatest singer or stage performer. he will even admit to that. his songwriting skills are running thin. his choice in band members has bothered me greatly over the last five years. but I still love the man and his music.
saw the Celebrity Ghost Story with Jack Osbourne last night and the guy who plays Ozzy in the reinactment looks totally stupid.
I think Sharon's fame has diminished Ozzy's image and likability severely. Ozz used to be metal's gold standard. I never heard anything negative spoken about Ozz until 5-6 years ago...whenever the maiden shit happened

I can understand that, but at the same time you should be taking your anger out on Sharon, not Ozzy. I still view him as that standard lol. Which is truly sad to hear because Sharon was an amazing manager for him throughout his entire career and stuck by him through all the bullshit. I mean it's quite the remarkable relationship they have going on, so in a sense I think Ozzy feels he owes her for everything she's done for him. She helped get him back on his feet after the Sabbath break up and helped him produce some of the greatest albums in metal.

I don't take it out on Ozz, but others obviously do. Its kinda lame to me that the Maiden thing was what really turned the tide on him. Especially since I hate Maiden and see most of the dorks that get really gay for them as poseur n00bs. That actually allows me to dismiss a lot of the criticism. I don't think Ozz is infallible, but I think people's expectations of him are pretty ridiculous. I don't think anyone is particularly good at heavy metal past the ages of 40-45. There are exceptions (Danny Lilker), but time clearly hasn't been kind to Ozzy, Slayer, Metallica, etc.

Now that's a joke.
