The writing, the preaching, the character changes, the constant bringing characters back from the dead (see real Gwen is now back in Spider-Man), the confusing time shit X-Men keeps doing, the event after event after event... Marvel has lost it.
we been knew dat. I stopped reading all the major marvel books in like 2014 because they were all tied in to some stupid event. I just read the smaller, standalone books. But now those are fucking stupid as well.
Ben Affleck has stepped down as the director of the stand-alone Batman movie. He will still play Batman, and the movie is still happening, but he said he can't direct and star in a project that big by himself. I hope they go with someone like Brad Anderson or David Slade
I think a solo Batman would be awesome because I loved Affleck as Batman. That being said, Batman V. Superman and Suicide Squad were both very mediocre, so I wouldn't mind it if DC bowed out of the movie game for a while (which they won't because Marvel). If Wonder Woman sucks, I think I'm going to start waiting for DC movies to hit DVD/Netflix before watching.
