yo slightly stoopid was cool. they jammed. absolutely garbage set doe didn't even play wise-man, collie man, leaving on a jet plane, or closer to the sun. the encore was two instrumentals and two covers.

Gideon - Gideon fucking brought it hard \m/
Thy Art Is Murder - I was actually somewhat impressed by CJ's vocal performances, dude was also hilarious and really cool to talk too/interview, 0 about their music.
Volumes - Had to try and keep from falling asleep during this band, they were boring as ashit.
Emmure - I am in no way, shape, or form a fan of this band in any way, however, they are flat out the best *live* deathcore band out there (excluding Despised Icon)
i dunno. They're appearance, demanor, and fanbase (at least the fanbase from my school, and what Ive seen at Mayhem ) seem more hardcore to me. Soundwise hardcore as well, or even metalcore, but not deathcore. They lack that death metal influence deathcore has.
For a good hour and a half after the show, we hung out with Ryan and Brian from TBDM, Luc from Gorguts, Donald from Obituary, Steve from Deicide, Cory and Matt from Trivium, Kelly from Atheist and Rob from Corpse.

Carcass were about as flawless live as physically possible, their musicianship is mind boggling.
TBDM were extremely energetic as expected, but having to follow Gorguts took away from them.
Gorguts were the fucking heaviest band I've ever seen, Luc is a fucking god.
Noisem were solid, but their drummer was annoying as shit.
Maruta fucking killed, their vocalist reminds me of Thomas from At The Gates.
