i hate it when people are like "i don't know anything about this", but then they will argue with you about it

he doesn't fit into the mold we expect a politician to be and thus people see him as a joke

no. it's his policies. if you ran a country the way he wants to, it would fail...and fail quickly.

no offense, but people who want to sound smart and want me to listen to their political opinion always throw paul in my face. it doesn't work, and usually i feel the contrary because they never can explain to me what's so great about him.

socialism was the last mainstream political ideal to break...more than 100 years ago. there are new, better ways to do things. people are just so locked in to what they know that they can't function outside of the box that we're in right now

And what part of his words do you disagree with? His appeal is running the government in the limited capacity it was meant to be run in. To focus our government on being concerned with only with protecting its peoples life, liberty, and property as what our founding fathers intended. To make our government live within its means, while getting rid of corruption, special interests. And lastly, I dont see how anyone can not respect his consistency over the last 3 decades. NO politician has been more consistent then Ron Paul.

there are thousands of issues. What exactly do you disagree with him on? I stated why I am a supporter (generically), so why dont you explain why you are in opposition to him?

if you put a model together with as little glue as possible, is it not more likely to break?

i find his consistency admirable, but that's about it.

none of it matters though, none of these prospective GoP nominees look like they have what it takes to beat Obama

You do realize that you just responded to my statement of why I support of Pauls with nothing but fluff. You provided no counter argument, and stated no reason why you disagree with his words.

I claim that Pauls ideals are 100% in line with what our country started out as and what our founding fathers intended. This is also a time that our country became a power house that it is today. The industrial revolution is a direct consequence of running a government in this fashion. So you want to make vague claims like "that wouldnt work" but the fact of the matter is that it did work, and the reason why we are where we are today is because of that government.

It was fucks like Lincoln and FDR that fucked our country over and changed it to big government country that feeds off of corruption and special interests.

i'm at work, dog. i don't really have the time to write the book that would illustrate my opinions on what all is wrong with ron fuckin' paul. i *have* to keep it short and metaphorical.
