I honestly cant say what I would have done and I dont think anyone really can. Its all up to what you believed, how you were raised and alot of it has to do with what your duty was as a soldier in that country. I think what happebed back then was disgusting and awful, and I have no problem with them punishing people for it now, but I honestly cannot say how I would have acted or what I would have done. It depends on the person/situation/ and your belieffs.

if your order is to burn an 11 year old child alive then yes you should be held accountible, and for the record very few soldiers were in this moral conundrum, most were happy to follow through on these orders, scum of the earth
