Yup. I've yet to play a bari but I could probably do it. The mouthpiece size and embouchure are the only things that are different with saxophones.

there were actually alto clarinets in my first year of marching band. it was pretty awesome.

Yeah, but they're pretty awesome. My high school didn't march with them because there would be no way to high step while playing them. And it would be suicide for the MMB to march baris lol. Tenors have enough problems as it is doing entries.
