I've been playing guitar for like thre months, i could always play a little for years, but i just started taking it seriously recently when i bought a beginners guitar jawn around new years. I learned how to play Bombtrack the other day \m/
I'm mainly a bass player, but I play other instruments as well. Bassists that made me want to play are Flea, Victor Wooten and Cliff Burton I've been playing bass for 3 years now I've got a band, but we've yet to do anythin because the guitarist is super busy with other stuff

I'm aiming to have a touring band but I want to take some recording/producing classes in college because I think that would be a lot of fun as well

i'm hoping to do an Adam D. have a touring band, as well as work as a producer for other bands (as well as my own).
I would say guitar but after the amp blew or stopped working for w/e reason I had to drop it cuz I couldn't afford to get another amp or anything. Oh well =/
But if things happened differently I would have been playing on and off for 9-10 years
you can still play w/o an amp... will just sound accoustic-ish
I was just going to get an accustic...but when we got the extra cash it had to go to something else more important. After a while I just gave up...especially after one of my strings broke and I didn't have a replacement for that particular string. I plan of picking it up again sometime soon

Crusades and friends like about 10 minutes away from me. In Illinois. Halfway across the country from you.
If you wanted to make the drive, good on you, but I doubt your band mates would be willing to make a 15 hour drive to play a relatively small show.
...one day...we can all just tour the country lol
