I disagree with this completely based solely on how I am. I also believe this is an instance where guys/girls are very different.... Guys are utilitarian where women sexy naturally. Because of this, girls are much more prone to consider things with other girls. It just isnt the same for guys. I suspect the number of bi men is very small.
And even if I am wrong, I think this would be a hard thing to figure out because of the shame associated with that label. Not saying that someone should be ashamed of being gay or bi, but frankly it is a common feeling.
