Facts, my only thing is that it’s almost too accurate to the game. Gives a deja vu feeling and all the major moments are obviously already spoiled. This is why things like Halo having a separate storyline from the games never bothered me. Not at all saying Halo was a great show, but having a different storyline and not being accurate to the games was never a complaint of mine. If I wanna see the same story twice, I’ll play the game again. But the side stories and further background is where it will deviate from the games and fill in the lack of gameplay so that will be interesting.
I still can’t stand the Ellie casting tho. The characteristics and mannerisms on point but the bitch literally looks half retarded and nothing like Ellie whatsoever. At least Pascal is decently close enough to Joel wit that hair and facial hair, Ellie has no similarities whatsoever. Might as well have race switched her while they were at it, she’s that drastically different anyways.

yeah. IDK What eric is talking about. Bill & Franks backstory was one of the things that people wanted to know more about.
The scene where Frank wipes the dust of the mantal, and Bill just stares at him in disgust. The panino scene.
It was such a masterful job of taking one episode and letting us all get to know these characters and grow with them through the timeline just for them to perish at the end. It literally set the scene for the journey ahead perfectly.
The letter from Bill to to Joel was perfect. foreshadowing Giving his purpose back with protecting ellie.
I love how yall are glossing over my main complaint. A forced gay sex scene between 2 hairy ass 50 year old men was jus the icing on the cake. Besides that, I watch and like Euphoria and Shameless, which both have more frequent gay shit. (Problem here being how forced and out of place it felt. There’s definitely a strong ass agenda.) The main problem was that it was a 90 MINUTE LONG aka movie length bloated ass episode about 2 characters that people don’t give a fuck about. Shit I barely even remembered Bill and they give him and his boyfriend that was previously only an off screen thing an hour and a fucking half. I relegated that shit to background noise as I was cleaning the aquarium and it STILL bored me to fucking death smh.
