Chris Cornell - Unplugged In Sweden. It isnt an official album, but it is better then anything he commercially released IMHO. I was listening to it today and thought you might really like it if you have never heard it.

Normally I am like a so-so fan of soundgarden, audioslave, and temple of the dog. I think some of the stuff is alright, but nothing I get excited over. I think all of Cornell's solo work is complete garbage. Way way way over produced. I downloaded all his albums, listened to them several times and then deleted them because they were rubbish.
However.... this one album totally owns. I think you will really love it. I do. One of my favorite albums. He does some really awesome covers... Led Zeppelin, Michael Jackson, Bob Marley, Elvis Costello.... Check it out. I really think you will dig it.

I'm a pretty big fan of Nick Cave. The Boatman's Call is probably my fav.
Really though, I don't think much value comes out of giving me a list like that. If there is an album you think I'd really be into, call out that album and I'lll check it out. With all groups, some albums are better then others, so You gotta give people something specific to look for.
Like I love all Roger Waters, but I aint gonna tell someone to pick an album. I'll say "you have to listen to pros and cons... its the best!"
Steve Earle - I feel alright townes van Zandt - the best of Kasey Chambers - the captain Lucinda Williams - car wheels on a gravel road Howlin Wolf - his best 20th lightning hopkins - another old blues guy just pick up greatest hits joni mitchell - blue john prine - his best or fair and square nick cave - boatmans call is his best but murder ballads close second leonard cohen - the essential leonard cohen lou reed - transformer
most dudes have like a 30 year carrer so there greatest hits are usually a good way to start
yea alot of the artists i listen to are like that....wake you should really start listening to tom wiats alot...he is 10 times better than nick cave but very similar in some ways...IMO he is the greatest musical artists ive ever heard hands down. when i was young i thought no one could be better than dylan or the beatles...i was wrong
