uhhhh.... it's a symbolic wall you know.... right? I feel a little dumb explaining this but- It's about a man's journey though life. and how when he had shitty things happen to him (losing his dad, abuse from school teachers, a skank ass wife, etc...) he just kept closing himself off to the world. Not really dealing with these issues. And when he has finally shut himself off to the world, he starts basically going crazy and is tormented by this overwhelming guilt for mistakes he made in his life. And so he puts himself on trial (in his head) charging himself with all the mistakes he made while recognizing that his punishment needs to be the thing he fears the most- Dealing with these issues in his life by destroying this wall he built to close himself off from the outside world.
In a twist of Irony- If you listen to the very start, the first words are "...we came in?" and the last words on the album is "Isn't this where..." which I personally take to mean that the dude (Pink) probably didn't learn anything from his journey. He is just back to where he started from and will probably just start building a new wall.

My seats are like right in front of the huge tower behind the mound! Front and center, not too close! Best concert ever!!!

Anyways, Im sure Nola already knew all this.
i always thought it was about a man that ignored the good things around him, then imploded when those things left him behind due to his neglect
