But I hate motherfuckers who make/say shit like this. Yes, because you're supposed to play/perform in an intense physical activity with a broken fucking leg. 8-|
You can give props for the warrior mentality when they keep playing for a bit, but ultimately, it's retarded and they should get the fuck off the field/court/ice as soon as it happens. All you're doing is raising the risk of doing even worse damage to the injury, meaning a longer time until you can return. And if you're a key player, that's only really hurting your team.
As a smaller and less severe example, it was revealed after the Bulls were knocked out of the Playoffs that Luol Deng played basically the entire season wit a torn wrist ligament and broken finger in his shooting hand. Now you can give your applause for him being a warrior and shit, but what happened? He was extremely inconsistent, and this was one of his worst seasons, leaving the fans wondering what the fuck happened to cause such a sudden and intense decline in production. Case in point, playing through an injury to be tough benefits nobody, but hurts everyone. Yes it sucks to have to sit on the sidelines, but for the sake of yourself and your team, just do your fucking rehab and be smart.
