:-< Franzen and Bertuzzi are going to need to get their heads out of their asses sooner rather than later. Datsyuk being Datsyuk has covered up for them being really shitty lately. Hopefully Babs will switch up the lines and split them up. Either that or call up Conner/Nyquist/Tatar to get a spark.
Franzen more than Bertuzzi, to be fair. But neither are doing much. They have the size and the skill set to create scoring chances and lately neither of them have been doing that. Bert seems like he loses focus sometimes. That play at the end of the game was a prime example. I just wish they would be more assertive, use their bodies and crash the fucking net. Datsyuk has been the saving grace on that line. Now he's not there for a couple weeks and they need to do something.
The entire Wings team was at fault for the poor offense, but Franzen and Bert haven't been playing well even when we're winning.
When he's scoring, he's a monster. When he's not, he disappears and plays like he doesn't give a shit. It's so frustrating because the dude is getting Hossa-level money.
