Sounds like the opposite of the Islanders/Panthers game. It was blah until OT when Booth got a penalty shot in OT and missed wide, then went to shootout and actually got exciting.

DETROIT -- The Detroit Red Wings aren't taking any chances with nagging injuries, especially this close to the playoffs.
So forwards Pavel Datsyuk (lower body), Johan Franzen (groin) and Jiri Hudler (upper body) all likely are out for Monday's game against Pittsburgh at Joe Louis Arena, general manager Ken Holland said Sunday afternoon.
"We're anticipating Hudler, Franzen and Datsyuk all out tomorrow,'' Holland said. "They're all day to day. We'll see as we go.'' Defenseman Ruslan Salei will return to the lineup after being away for a week to be with his wife, who had their third child.
The Red Wings will dress 11 forwards and seven defensemen. They have no other alternative. They can't recall a player from the Grand Rapids Griffins because they don't have the salary cap space, Holland said.
There are only two ways they would recall a player: If Chris Osgood were healthy and could dress, it would enable them to send Joey MacDonald down and use his cap space. Of they could put someone on long-term injured reserve.
But Osgood won't be ready until later in the week, at the earliest. And they believe none of their injuries are long-term, which requires a player to be out a minimum of 10 games and 24 days.
Matt Cooke is a prime example of why they should get rid of the instigator rule. If that rule wasn't in place someone could fuck his ass up and he wouldn't get away with half the shit he does, but since the rule is there if someone does that, 5 min PP for the other team, thrown out of game, fine, suspension, and coach possibly fines. it's bullshit, let the players police themselves. I'm tired of Cooke, Avery, Ott, ect. getting away with murder and injuring players every season. so the following week they met up again, Richards fought Cooke, Crysbytch didn't fight anybody <_> like a bitch. this was an entertaining bout! Richards got some good shots in at the end.
my favorite thing about Richars is he always takes his helmet off, only a few times I seen him fight where he didnt remove his helmet and its cause the other guy went right after him and he didnt have a chance.
