I HATE THE FUCKING SHOOTOUT!!!

at least we got a point though

was gonna say the same thing last night....

for real, the Flyers were cycling hard in the offensive zone, it was only a metter of time before they fucking scored and the buzzer goes off into a shootout <_>

save the fucking shootouts for the allstar game and only use them for penalty shots. I hate the damn shootout. it's such a shitty way to end a hard fought tough great game.

the only thing good about shootouts is its fun for the fans to watch but the outcome of a game should not depend on a shootout situation

no, this is not true, though i am excited when we win it, i always cant stand it. they might as well flip a coin to see who wins the extra point, thats about how accurate the shootout is.

I agree. It really isnt fair. Its not a way a hockey game should end. Id say more OT

5 minutes of overtime is 4 on 4. there should be more overtime, 5 minutes, 3 on 3, then 5 minutes 2 on 2, and so on....

He got hit by Nash and hurt something. I don't know what it was, it seemed like a harmless hit.

Pavel is day to day and Rafalski is expected to play tomorrow. Good news.

Well day to day means he probably bruised or sprained something, which is much more fortunate than breaking his wrist again. As long as he's back for the playoffs I'm not concerned.

4 on 4 for 10 minutes. If tied after 10, end it.

Ties are dumb. They should revamp the points system and go 4 on 4 for 10, 3 on 3 for 10, then the shootout.

ties do suck, but it's more of a legit way to end a hockey game than a shootout is. Especially since the shootouts now hurt you in a tie breaker.

Which is why changing the points system would fix that. Fans get their entertainment, and teams don't get screwed with the stupid wins without a shootout tiebreaker.

great game! i still dont like the shootout even though we won... the game was so exciting up until the very end of OT, then BLAH shootout <_> we were the lucky ones this time.
