British producer Andy Sneap (MEGADETH, ARCH ENEMY, NEVERMORE, EXODUS) has revealed to Radio Metal that he will enter the studio this summer with San Francisco Bay Area metal veterans TESTAMENT to begin work on the follow-up to 2008's "The Formation Of Damnation". A late 2011/early 2012 release is expected.
"The new album will most likely be a culmination of 'The Gathering' [1999] and 'The Formation of Damnation', but we're definitely not going to forget who we are or our roots. I think we've found a comfortable spot in our writing style," TESTAMENT vocalist Chuck Billy stated in a 2010 interview.
Now is the time to reveal another layer from our upcoming album "Fables of the Sleepless Empire". The cover artwork is a creation from Spanish artist Mario Sanchez Nevado ( http://aegis-strife.net/ )
All inside graphic work and modifications have been done by Eric Charron; Photographies by Elaine Phaneuf. Here are the names of the 11 songs to be released on this epic offering :

a little info about the band..... Ahab began as the side project to this. The Singer is also Liv Kristine's sister. They're typical Melodic metal/folk; although i'd be wrong to call them generic.

This album is going to be amazing. Sick death metal with production that reminds me of Ordo Ad Chao with clearer drums
for fans of: Bloodbath, Ribspreader, and Hypocrisy.
Best DM album i've listened to from this year
