I'm just trying to figure out what the hell kind of concept the album is following. I don't see much connection between The Hunter and those titles. lol
Somebody made a really good point that the album could be based on Boba Fett. That most of the song titles are in reference to being a badass space bounty hunter, and that "The Octopus Has No Friends" is referring to the Sarlacc.

Not really. Mastodon has never had "normal" song titles.....
I wouldn't say any of their previous song titles are weird by any means. And if you do consider them weird, they're not as weird as "The Octopus Has No Friends" and "Stargasm".
