I haven't been following Formula One this season, but I just looked up points and it turns out after two races, Sebastian Vettel already has twice as many points as second place driver Jensen Button.
yeah I haven't been following much. I haven't felt like staying up for it. I just know that the season opener was one boring race from what I had heard
I haven't felt like staying up either, that is a chore to do, especially with how unexciting the racing has been with Vettel leading flag to flag.
Exactly. I've given up on staying up late/waking up early for shitty racing. I woke up for Monaco last year. The best part about it was the landscape. The race was terrible. So I've decided that the only time I'm watching is if I don't have to wake up for it. Like the Canadian Grand Prix.
The Canadian Race is great every year, I can watch highlights on the Speed Channel later anyway, on the other hand, I went against my better judgement last year and watched Valencia, which is known as the most boring track in F1 history, and actually got a good race between the Marc Webber crash and Kamui Kobayashi's last lap passes of both Ferrari cars.

The Canadian Grand Prix is great because the track is excellent. It puts on a great F1 race, a great Nationwide series race, and a great GP2 race as well. Circuit Gilles Villenueve is just an awesome facility up in Montreal.
I've never minded Valencia. And usually Monaco is great, but last year was just terrible.
I guess I'm just used to nascar. I like seeing passes. I like seeing close proximity racing. Not guys spread out, and for the most part the pole winner leading the whole race. It's the main reason that I have not been able to get into F1. Even in IndyCar there is more passing.
I can watch almost any form of racing. I just struggle to sit through an F1 race. I find F1 qualifying to be more exciting than the race itself.
To defend F1, certain cars will be better than others, Red Bull, Ferrari, and McLaren are head and shoulders better than the competition with Mercedes, Sauber, Force India, and Toro Rosso bringing it up behind them. It is more of a technical showcase than a driving showcase, but certain drivers do still stand out without having the best car, Kamui Kobayashi and Adrian Sutil are good examples of that. Indy has a pass button, so I only watch that if I'm really really bored.
Little known fact, Trevor Bayne is only the second driver to win in his first Daytona 500 start, the other one was Lee Petty in 1959, in the first Daytona 500.
I check in here once a year. So I went to the Monster Truck Jam yesterday with my son. Is that actually a legitimate competitive sport, or is it closer to fake wrestling? It's kind of hard to tell when you are there sometimes.
