They need a QB. A QB worthy of #1 is not available. I think they will try their hardest to trade out, but it will probably be near impossible. It's probably too early to tell whether they reach for Geno Smith or not, but with a new regime I think it's more likely than before.
LOL Gary's best insult is to tell me to go look at myself in a mirror? You mad 'cause I be dat PMF. Your team blows cock and you're a sad excuse of a sports fan. WORD111!!!11!1!1!1!1!111!!!!1!
So who thinks OT Luke Joeckel will go #1 in the draft? and do you think KC will trade their pick away?
Best player nearly never goes first overall. So will be the case this year. I think Joeckel only goes 1 in the event it's traded, which is more likely due to the new CBA. It's not like a few years ago where there was a lot to give up. KC would trade #1 at a price that's attractive to a buyer. I think a team like the Cardinals or the Eagles are a possibility.

KC apparently wants a new QB BAD. Like, 3 years ago BAD.
After the Jake Long pic, I think a lot of teams are leery of drafting linemen 1st overall. They're just not quite that valuable. This may be the thinnest class of QBs since 03 and somebody is bound to reach on one of them. Hell, the last couple of years have been loaded at QB and you still saw some teams blinking on mediocre prospects (I'm looking at you, Browns/Titans/Vikings)

Probably obvious.... but What Sherman was saying is that he thinks RG3 made the right decision by passing up coming to play with him at Standford. That when he turned down Standford, Sherman became a fan of RG3, but he wasnt going to say that while he was on the team.

Fuck. Steven Hauschka placed on IR, and Ryan Longwell signed to take his place? I dont like that. However I probably like it better than the kicker SF signed. And I like that Longwell was training to run a marathon this weekend... so he should be in shape
I have no idea what they are thinking signing Chukwurah. Ugh. Atlanta is going to exploit that.
Chukwurah has not played in an NFL game since 2007 with Tampa Bay. He spent the 2009 and 2010 seasons in the UFL with the Florida Tuskers, where he led the league in sacks. He was a fifth-round pick by Denver in 2001 and played with the Broncos and Buccaneers. Carroll said his relationship with Seattle defensive coaches Todd Wash and Gus Bradley, plus Chukwurah's ability to play on special teams. made him the best option despite spending the last five seasons out of the NFL.
''I came here with the mindset that if this was going to be my last shot, to give it all that I've got,'' Chukwurah said. ''I was really set on just moving on and starting the next chapter so this is just a blessing.''

wake's nfl opinion>everyone elses nfl opinion.
Both statements are true, but calling out everyone in the world individually is a slow method of saying the same thing. thanks for the support Rex
