I thought it was kinda funny RG3 got fucked up, but not as a slight on him but because of Shanahan's greed biting him in the ass
I think the owners have to carry some of the blame as well. Maybe now they will pull up that mud and lay down some quality artificial turf. You know the fake stuff has become better than grass.
Bill Cowher has added a bit of intrigue to the NFL coaching carousel, telling Newsday he probably will return to the sideline at some point.
The 55-year-old Cowher coached the Pittsburgh Steelers from 1992-2006, winning a Super Bowl after the 2005 season. He is now a TV analyst for CBS.
He tells the newspaper on Tuesday the challenge of returning to coaching after a long layoff is motivation for him to come back. But he says hasn't been contacted by any of the five NFL teams hunting for a new head coach, and he isn't tempted by any of those opportunities either.
Cowher's career coaching record is 149-90-1. The Steelers went 8-8 in his final season.

You guys can say what you want about me but I said this would happen to him. Now for the record..I don't wish an injury on nobody BUT if you want to play like a running back and take huge hits like a running back you are going to get hurt. So I think him taking all those chances that he took and his stupid coaching staff leaving him in..well...this is what happens and I think that is funny...Their stupidty is funny..not the injury.....So bite me

fuck that...i hate outdoor teams that don't play on the real shit

This real shit you are talking about was literally painted mud and it is a big reason why RG3 will miss a year of football. I get with an outdoor field you sometimes need to deal with bad weather and slippery conditions, but that field was in no condition for a playoff game.
The bengals just put a new field in. Its beter than the real shit. I guess I can relate to what you're saying though I hate domes. Part or football to me as a fan is being in the weather
You tryin to be a hero fool? You wanna see badass mother fucker?! I'll show ya a badass!!!
8-| players now a days are to pampered if that field was in no condition to play a game...its fucking football...its meant to be played in shitty conditions
RG3 will have total reconstructive surgery on the knee. ACL and LCL were both torn. Projected 6 to 8 months recovery time....
And he'll never be the same again.
don't be so sure of this....with the advancements in surgery these days its possible his knee could be 100% again...unlikely but im not ready to say he will never be the same again

I don't mind the weather... I much prefer Seattle's New Stadium over that fucking Kingdom. But what im talking about here is consistency in what you have to run on, which is important in today's game with the speed of the play. When you have a mud pit like you do in DC, it's just asking for injuries. And then when they do come, because they always will, you get teams moving on without some of the better players because they were injured on some shit field. It's bullshit.

Yeah, totally, it's not the career ender that it used to be.
If it was Calvin fucked up because of conditions you would be throwing the biggest bitch fit off all time and you cannot even deny that with how many things you blame losses and poor play on
