IMO the dude has the ability to throw the ball....but its a project....and its still got a lot of work....but in 5 years he could be a quality starter

I love what Weeden could do under Turner, personally. He'd probably ignore Richardson more, which is stupid, but that could be a good football team.

Freeing up Manning's contract allowed Grigson to completely retool that roster, and with the Colts still being responsible for Manning's massive contract, I doubt they'd have been able to do the retooling that allowed them to make the playoffs. Also, if you give me a choice, I'd rather have a 23 year old Luck than a 36 year old Manning.

Lets pretend that Manning restructured his contract so that they could have the same colt team they had this year but with Manning at QB. I dont think with Manning at QB with the O-line they had, Manning could have got it done in Indy. Do you disagree with that Wine? And that is also assuming that Manning would have remained healthy, which Im sure he wouldnt have on that Colts team. I think Luck now, is as good, as Manning is now. I think Manning is more smart about the game, but Luck has better athletic qualities today. Im not comparing Manning in his prime several years ago to Luck now... No... Im comparing Manning in 2012 to Luck in 2012.
