Just going through the 4 other NFC "elite teams" schedules.
Out of the top 10 teams in the NFL named above.
Green Bay and NY Giants - 5 games against top 10 teams Chicago and San Fran - 4 games against top 10 teams Atlanta - 2 games against top 10 teams
Is that better evidence?
If not.........in addition to the games against "top 10" teams, here are the games against other teams that are currently above .500 on each teams respective schedules.
Chicago and Green Bay - 4 each San Fran -3 NY Giants - 2 Atlanta - 0
I'm not making this stuff up, nor am I trying to pick on the Falcons. I am merely stating facts.
I looked it up and the only team the Bears have beaten with a winning record was the Colts
I never said they have had a tough schedule so far, in fact its been pretty weak, but it gets considerably tougher from here on out. Whereas the Falcons schedule has been very weak so far and never really gets any tougher. They have one game remaining versus an above .500 team and that is the Giants in like week 15 or somethiing.
So no other team has beaten more than 2 winning teams this year, but the Falcons are somehow inferior because they've only beaten 1...even though they're undefeated. Makes sense

No they are inferior because they haven't played anyone, won't play anyone, and always shit the bed in the playoffs.
That being said I still have them ranked #1 because they have beaten everyone on their schedule so far. It doesn't mean I don't think they are the best team is all i'm saying. I think on a neutral field they would be underdogs against possibly everybody in that top 10. Their schedule is a joke, but it's not their fault, they can only beat who they play.
i'm not specifically disagreeing with you, but overall sentiment in the press. some asshole had the falcons rated #7 in the league last week on his power rankings. it's weird. you still hear about nfc east teams constantly even though most suck

that's crap. The NFC East just keeps beating each other up. If I was making power rankings The Eagles, Cowboys, and giants would All three be in the top 5. And the redskins would probably come in around #6.
The Lions have to have the toughest remaining schedule in the NFL right now. Two against the Packers, one against the Bears, then you've got the Vikings, Colts, Falcons, Texans, and Cardinals. Hoo boy.

You couldve caused major butthurt in this thread if you left off the redskins part. That made it too obvious.
