Fuckin' Tom Brady...put a skirt on em.

I disagree that we should avoid rule changes, but this QB rule is bullshit.

New Orleans Saints tight end Jeremy Shockey was taken to a hospital in an ambulance Thursday, according to reports on NewOrleans.com, which cited a league source, and ABC26 television.

The reports said Shockey was stricken in the weight room at the end of the team's third organized team activity session. He walked to the ambulance, the report said.

Shockey participated in the team's morning practice and during interview sessions.

One player told NewOrleans.com that Shockey was shaking and "he was basically out of it for probably a minute or so, but it seemed longer." The player said Shockey seemed aware after that and was walking around when he left for the hospital.

Also at the Saints' OTA, the team said that cornerback Malcolm Jenkins is working out at free safety.

"We'll move him around," said Saints head coach Sean Payton. "He's working at free. He's a guy that has good versatility. He can come down and play in the box. He can play in the safety position, in the nickel packages. Gregg [Williams, the team's defensive coordinator] and those guys will do a great job of utilizing his skill set, but he's doing well and working primarily at free safety."

NFL commissioner Roger Goodell has advised the Pittsburgh Steelers that quarterback Ben Roethlisberger can return to team activities next week, NFL spokesman Greg Aiello said Thursday.

In a statement, the league said Goodell made the decision based on reports and recommendations from medical experts. Goodell ordered a behavioral evaluation of Roethlisberger as part of his six-game suspension under the league's conduct policy.

"The commissioner will continue to monitor Roethlisberger's progress as he begins the next phase of his recommended plan and will meet with Roethlisberger again at the appropriate time," the league said. "There has been no decision on any modification to the length of Roethlisberger's suspension."

On April 21, Goodell suspended Roethlisberger for six games, but said he would consider reducing the suspension to four games at the start of the regular season, based on the quarterback's progress.

"We look forward to having Ben rejoin his teammates on the practice field," Steelers president Art Rooney II said Thursday.

The Steelers have six offseason workouts remaining before training camp opens on July 30.

The two-time Super Bowl winner was suspended following a March incident in which a 20-year-old college student accused Roethlisberger of sexual assault in Milledgeville, Ga. The case will not be prosecuted.

    Seahawks waived LenDale White.

GM John Schneider explained the move thusly: "It became apparent at this time that LenDale was not ready to be a member of the Seahawks." We know that White was in great shape, so that wasn't an issue. His attitude may gotten him off on the wrong foot with the organization. It doesn't bode well for his future that his college coach gave up on him so quickly. With backfields already settled around the league, he's going to have a hard time finding a job.

Tebow moves up to No. 3 QB

Rookie quarterback Tim Tebow has passed second-year QB Tom Brandstater on the Broncos depth chart.

Tebow was the third quarterback in during the team’s offensive play series of the Broncos’ organized training activity Thursday. Returning starter Kyle Orton took plenty of reps with the No. 1 unit and Brady Quinn got his reps at No. 2.

And then Tebow went in next, followed by Brandstater. Although Brandstater was third in on individual quarterback drills, Tebow clearly was No. 3 during the team drills.

Tebow’s throwing motion, by the way, is still a tad long. But he does fire with decent zip and accuracy.

    Breaking News!

(New York, NY )- Commissioner Roger Goodell announced today, that the NFL would not be playing the 2010-2011 season. While this comes as a shock to many football fans, what followed was even more astounding. As it was explained by a very tired looking Mr. Goodell, "Last night, and the preceding 39 nights, I have been visited by an Angel of the Lord, and thru which, we have been in direct negotiations with God, concerning a matter very important to the Supreme Being. - Due to the recent acquisition of Tim Tebow, by the Denver Broncos, and the undoubted meddling in the NFL season by the Almighty, we are cancelling all games this season, including playoffs, and will be awarding the Lombardi Trophy to the Denver Broncos. In order to avoid possible "Wrath of God" retaliation strikes, which include, but are not limited to: plagues of locusts, earthquakes, Earth spanning floods, famine, and the destruction of Boston and San Francisco by fire and brimstone, the league felt it best to adopt this policy preemptively, and plans to maintain this plan every year, until Mr. Tebow retires. Despite, Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones best efforts to harden my heart, we will not ignore the Lord. Additionally, Mr. Jones's attempts to further damn my soul to hell beyond it's already damned status (for allowing Patriot cheating and destroying the evidence) he has attempted to have my soul classified as "hella-damned" by trying to get me to listen to his infernal advisor, Al Davis instead of God. However, we remain unswayed and will focus all our efforts into the smooth execution of this plan. The Draft, OTAs, training camps and preseason games will remain unaffected and proceed normally. A short question and answer session will be conducted by NFL-Solomon via CBS Sports message board, immediately following."

Denver Broncos Want To Host a Super Bowl: Could Invesco Be Next?

Mike Klis at the Denver Post was the first to report that the Broncos have an interest in hosting a Super Bowl.

That of course has become the new speculation following the Concrete Jungle's Super Bowl splash.

So go ahead and add Denver to the growing number of cities that are hoping to reap some rewards off of New York's recent winning bid for 2014.

However, if the Broncos were to land a gig, it would be a long ways out from now.

Pat Bowlen's office went ahead and endorsed the concept as an interesting idea; it certainly would be a great thing for the city of Denver and Invesco Field would make for a very unique Super Bowl location.

There are some things seriously hindering this dreamlike sequence from actually taking place.

First of all, it seems that the ignored weather rule was discarded for New York and one season only, so the Broncos would need to press for a more permanent change to the average temperature restrictions on Super Bowl host cities.

But also, and perhaps more importantly, altitude could make the bid far more difficult than it was for New York.

And Denver isn't the country's most populated city.

If all of those factors can be overcome (and the snow Gods are willing to hold back for a year) then Denver could be home for a Super Bowl in the distant future.

The best news for fans who might actually like to go is that Pat Bowlen's office is interested.

A lot will hinge on the reception to the Super Bowl in the February air of New York, as well as how hard the front office pushes for this to happen.

I wouldn't expect Denver to have a shot at hosting anything until the late part of the decade however, so mark it on your calendars as something you might get to look forward to one day.

How many of those were after John Elway left? Winning those Super Bowls sure saved Mike Shanahan's job, eh?
