That's a lot to give up for a 33 year old QB who hasn't been great lately. Are the Broncos really a Wilson away from being good? In that division? The AFC is so crowded.
Not every QB is Tom Brady or Aaron Rodgers and can stay elite into their late 30s. A big part of Wilson's game is his mobility, and he's taken a lot of hits in recent years. I'm not saying Denver shouldn't have done it, but it's a haul to give up.

Maybe not, but we're closer with Wilson than without him. We've been in limbo for 6 years because we don't have a QB.
But I think we're close. Our defense is still good. We held Kansas City to 22 points and Cincinnati to 15 last year. And we have weapons on offense but that does us no good with no QB.
Worst case scenario it doesn't work out and we just start a rebuild in two years. We weren't going to find a QB that's playoff ready in the next two years anyway

i think its funny people say that they bought a championship. They had the most home grown talent on their roster of any team in the playoffs.
they basically traded russ for jamal adams lmao
