Music doesn't HAVE to have good lyrics to be good. Children Of Bodom is an excellent example. One of my top 10 favorite bands, and he has fucking horrible lyrics. But in my opinion, good lyrics just add that "next level" to a band. All 3 of my favorite bands have some of my favorite lyrics. AILD and BMTH's lyrics are amazing and hit me emotionally and personally, and I love that emotional connection with Music rather then simply Musically enjoying it. Behemoth's lyrics don't hit me emotionally, but they still write some of my favorite lyrics. They're such intelligent lyrics. And BTW, I realize they write lyrics bashing Christianity, but not every song is like that, a lot of it is about Babylonian and Pagan shit, and not only that, even their songs bashing Christianity are intelligent and not simply "FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK CHRIST." I'm gonna post some Behemoth lyrics.

In my opinion, those are very intelligent lyrics, and creative. The line "With blood ov Nazarene, I write the history ov Man." is just brutal as hell, and actually gives off that evil and menacing vibe. That's a completely different ballgame compared to bands like Vital Remains and Deicide, who just try way too hard on the Anti-Christianity thing. And mind you, Vital Remains is in my top 10 favorite bands list as well.
And also, I can relate to the lighter Music connecting with you a bit more then Metal. When I want something melodious and lighter that's more emotional Music (Sometimes.) that's when I go to ADTR, PTV, or Jonny Craig. They all relax me.
I beg to differ that Metulz has no good lyrikks especially like DIO which is pure poetry and most of Black Sabbath's shit and Ozzy Metallica and such is poetry
