My favorite comedians are Brian Regan, Nick Swardson, Russell Brand, and Steve Byrne.
\m/ Brian Regan, Nick Swardson, and Steve Byrne are all decent modern day comics. Not my fav, but I'd hit them up at a comedy club if they were coming to town. I actually see more stand up comedians live then I do metal concerts \m/

I think the best for putting together a complete routine is Chris Rock. My favorite for a routine is Demetri Martin
I am not sure who my favorite stand-up guy is. I think to be funny live, you really must play on the crowd. Improv, and change up your set depending on the reactions you are getting. A great woman who does that is Paula Poundstone... If you ever get a chance to see her live, don't miss it. She is so fucking funny and like 30% of her jokes are made up on the fly depending on things happening in the crowd. I'm not sure off the top of my head what guys are like that

Do you guys know that asian guy who grew up in the south and has a strong southern accent? He does a little red neck humor... He is the only red neck humor comedian i like.
