I've had a pretty fucking shot month with stupid family bullshit. I was so frustrated with my sister I almost didn't want to get out of bed to go to the show. I missed most of Cancer Conspiracy because of that. I stood in the back for OMG and the first few Converge songs. I finally just told myself to get the fuck up and get closer. The second half of Converge's set in the pit was incredibly therapeutic. It's made me miss smaller shows. Every time I get caught up in working larger shows, I start to fall out of love for going to them. Really needed tonight.
She's getting married July 14th. She wants me to essentially take photos for free, but doesn't seem to understand how much time goes into it when it comes to weddings. My parents are giving me shit, saying I should feel obligated for it.
I'm realistic. When it comes to concerts, portraits etc, what I do is not all that difficult. But man, weddings are a fucking pain in the ass to photograph. Especially considering the amount of editing that comes after. There's a reason it's how most photographers make their big money.

Although Slayer was the most fun I've had at a show in a long while, but that floor was packed
