The whole thing is as efficient as anything else Ticketmaster has ever done. They are just trying to meet the minimum requirements for the terms of the settlement. They kinda want it to be a clusterfuck. I've got 5 vouchers, but no shows anywhere near me. The whole thing is stupid.
There are some really big events though, a lot of the major tours this summer were available. I expected to to be packed with little dumb shit like minor league baseball games where the tickets are $7 anyway. It is stuffed with a lot of cover bands. I saw at least two Tool cover bands and a handful of Pink Floyd cover bands. The Sabbath tour was available but all were claimed. Might cop the Gojira tour.
Everything you said is correct thought as far as doing the bare minimum and creating an absolute clusterfuck.
It's 2016 and literally everything is centered around apps...yet as far as I can tell there is no way of finding your vouchers and the events available through the app. I'm always signed into the app so I had no idea what my password was. The site kept saying it had no record of my email to send me a temp password even though it's the only email I have ever used with them. Took an entire day to retrieve my password.
Serious question, do you know if you can stack those? The savings may all be the same but psychologically I'd feel better off seeing the difference of $7.50 off one event over $2.50 off of three.
