    in slipknot's "surfacing," the part about 35 seconds in where joey switches up the beat and does these machine gun drum beats and corey yells "FUCK YOU ALL" sounds really really cool.

    honestly, as much fun as it is to hate on Slipknot and point out they they suck, they have some cool things going on in their first two albums. if anything they're heavy angry albums.

    I havent gone back in years... last time I listened to Slipknot was like 5 or 6 years ago. With exception of giving their newest album one listen.

    I've been able to go back to some Slipknot and Avenged but I haven't been able to go back to Disturbed at all. I recently did a re-listen and every fucking album except for like two moments on the sickness bored me to tears. Can't figure out why I ever liked it. Started to heavily move away from Boondox and Twiztid as well. Haven't really jammed them in months and the few times I have, I've cringed and turned it off. That show I saw back in November was definitely my last Twiztid live show as well. Just can't stomach it anymore. Maybe I'm growing up.

    some slipknot isnt bad at all, and ill fight anyone on that. some songs are fucking terrible, others are just bad, a lot are meh, but some of the riffs they have and beats joey does are terrific. and again, corey has some good lines, but its just not my type of thing at this point. its just not what I listen to anymore, thats all.
