I don't like the everyone makes the same amount of money concept, it is simply crap, what is there to drive you to succeed, this nation has built itself on greed and has done a decent job of it in my opinon.

Actually *way* back in the day the government was horrific. I'm talking about the 16-1800s. Things have improved / changed since then, arguably better or worse, but I wouldn't look back on the past as being rosy and perfect.

And certain things the gov is trying to do is wrong and I'm highly against it. They need to check themselves really. I mean...didn't the Iranian president in a UN meeting or some shit not too long ago go out and say most people think 9/11 was an inside job and the US embassy walked out with their panties in a bunch? Example: I owned a condo together with my ex-girlfriend. In Canada (probably US also) there is something called the Land Transfer Tax which lets the government tax any land sales. In Quebec the system is multi tiered:
Transfer Tax Up to $50,000 X 0.5% of total property value From $50,000 to $250,000 X 1% of total property value From $250,000 up X 1.5% of total property value
When she and I bought the property, we paid that tax on the full amount of the sale.
I recently bought her share of the condo and now own it outright. I had to pay additional land transfer tax on her half of the house. What the fuck?

When the second plane hit that changed and when they realized other planes weren't accounted for they started wisking away the Vice President, ect.
