I find it funny people care so much about getting high.
I despise this bill, and it's not because I want to go smoke weed. It's because this bill is bullshit and if it's passed, expect a bunch of other bullshit laws to get passed as well and kiss your so called free country goodbye.

like trying to censor video games even more <_>
Exactly. And just think of what else they'll try and pull or sneak through without America knowing (because they love doing that shit). Cell phone use is highly popular and there's been controversy over certain pics and texts sent, whose to say the government won't monitor or limit what you can do with a cell phone in the future <_>

Well, I do know in some states if you smoke in your car or your house and you have kids they can take your kids away and throw you in jail. Which is bullshit. I get smoking isn't healthy and shit but other shit isn't healthy either. Like the air in some cities because of manufacturing plants, how McDonalds isn't healthy either but yet parents always take their kids there. I see it as you can't please everyone, someone is always going to bitch about something. My opinion if someone wants to smoke, let them because that's their right. No one seemed to care as much aboun this shit 20 or 30 years ago but they do now because a bunch of people bitched. How about we start dealing with shit and stop bitching about bullshit all the time because all in all, it's just taking our rights away. Like how tv is highly censored and shit is bleeped out. I would pay extra to have nothin fucking censored. People are so afraid to expose their kids to anythig that now if you discipline your kid by the way we were, you'll probably get arrested. And now, it's obvious the generations are getting worse....I wonder the hell why <_>

Idk if this was directed at the people who go to Amsterdam to get high or the people in this thread saying the bill is bullshit. Personally, I rarely smoke pot, but this bill just plain goes against our rights.

This bill wouldn't affect me at all, but it's extremely stupid. USA can't dictate what you do in other countries as long as you are abiding by their laws. Although, if this law gets passed, I will laugh my ass off, because Netherlands is going to be one pissed off country.

Our government needs to be bitch slapped back to reality. Maybe that will happen in November? Vote all incumbents out!

And it was co-sponsored by a Democrat.

"Sponsored by hard-line drug warrior Texas Republican Rep. Lamar Smith, and cosponsored by California Democratic Rep. Adam Schiff, the Drug Trafficking Safe Harbor Elimination Act of 2010 will likely pass tomorrow despite the DPA’s argument that broad language in the bill could one day serve as an excuse to prosecute Americans for possessing drugs outside the U.S. The bill also has a counterpart in the Senate."

    Your argument fails, sir.

I was just responding to laurjohn saying it was a socialist law, which is mainly attributed to Democrats. I don't really care who sponsored it either I was just throwing it out there.

most people who complain about socialism don't even know what socialism really is. not saying the peeps on here are guilty but in general that is the reality

Everyone in office right now just needs to go.....it doesn't matter what party it is, all of them have unique ideas...on how to ruin our country.

Socialism is a great concept, yet has never been executed well, mainly because of tyranny.
