Maryland Death Fest stated that they aren't going to plan an event for 2023 and this year might be the last one. Fuck.
I'll be at it too. This hit me kinda hard cause I only went to 2019 and wanted to make it an annual event. It's the most well run festival I've ever been to.
Question: when you get an uber or Lyft in the USA do you tip the driver at the end of your journey? If so is it based on the distance travelled or number of passengers or amount of luggage you have ??
Or do just hop out and walk away since it is prepaid ?
You should ALWAYS TIP regardless of ride length. Unless the driver is a direct asshole to you, or drives unsafe, you should tip them. It can make an incredible difference in your day if everyone tips you even just a couple of dollars.
SO when me and my GF moved her out of her old house the landlords tried charging us for some shit that we didn't think we needed to pay for, and asked them to give us an itemization of everything we owed them.
well they never did and are taking us to small claims court. they didn't know that a very good friend of mine is a lawyer. He made some calls, and because of when they filed the small claims court docs, it was past their time limit after we moved out, and they actually owe us our entire deposit back. So he wrote us a letter to send to them requesting they drop the case or we will go after them for the $1,500 deposit.
we aren't trying to screw anyone over. we just don't want them to think they can take advantage to us. So we are going to play nice at first. I can't stand them though, so part of me hopes that they try to take us to court so they can get fucked lol.

Based on whatever you feel like giving them.
