prosecution fucked up big time though. they witheld evidence and basically at the last minute one of the members of their team found out and shared the evidence with the defense (which was the right thing to do) and they fired him.

Not sure about Florida, but in Texas if someone is attacking your face, throat or spine you can shoot them, no questions. Just dont know why people continue to pull the race card. Minorities kill each other every day and nobody cares. The fact was it was a kid that got killed. But thats the world we live in, now everybody's going berzerk..
The day you need a gun and don't have one, may be your last.
im not even sure why people are surprised by this outcome. guilty or not the prosecution didn't have enough evidence to prove beyond a reasonable doubt. in fact, the evidence seemed to corroborate george's story more then anything. but george should have listened to the cops and not have followed treyvon but that's easy for me sit here and say that considering i know the outcome. don't get me wrong though, i feel for treyvon's parents and it's a tragedy that anyone that young dies. and the fact the he was shot and killed make people want someone to be accountable and cleary george did it but it's just not that black and white.

He instigated the entire thing though. He followed Martin (who had done absolutely nothing illegal) after police dispatch specifically told him not to. After he got of his car is where the story gets fuzzy, and we'll never know the full story considering one of the witnesses is dead. If he the police handle it instead of trying to play mall cop and boost his ego Martin would still be alive.
And lets not bullshit here. Zimmerman was suspicious of Martin because he was black.
he was suspicious of martin because zimmerman's neighborhood kept getting robbed by black people that fit the description of trevyon and since zimmerman never saw him before he was suspicious. don't tell half the truth here. yes he profiled him but those were his reasons. and i agree that he shouldn't have followed him in the first place.

Look at Trayvon.
Look at Zimmerman.
He couldn't have fought him off without a gun? yeah okay.
