lol you better hope that freshman can play better then he did in the NC....that was some of the worst QB play i have ever seen lol....it was on the biggest stage tho....just pointing out you lost
But those are just the stats in black and white. They don't show that he brought the game within 3 points and could have lead a game winning drive if it wasn't for an O-line break down.

"but he was horrible..."
No, he wasn't.
If he had won that game everyone would have been calling him the second coming of Joe Montana. All it took was some better o-line play. Those stats are not representative of performance.
I highly doubt he was going to be godly. You can tell he was nervous as hell and doubting himself a lot. Then he he calmed down and got settled and did a great job. Brought them within 3 points and was about to lead an awesome game winning run. Yes I said game winning run, cause Bama was breaking down at that point and had no answer. O-line fucked up and he got sacked.
I'm sure he will do fine this year now that he got some great experience.
"Bama was breaking down at that point and had no answer."
Uh, no. Bama was the better team. Even if McCoy had played, Bama would have won. That two-headed monster they had in the backfield killed you guys all game.

I wonder if Utah's congressmen will back off now that the university is in a BCS conference.
